PRIVACY POLICY

Xen Zoona LLC (‘the Owners’) of GlutenTracker ('we') or its managers do not sell nor transfer any personal data to any third parties at any time. This policy applies not only to legally protected personally identifiable data but to any data which cannot be safely de-identified. We are very strict in our belief that personal data should be protected and should be owned by the user ('you'). The ways in which we use personal information are restricted to the following cases: 1) to verify the uniqueness of a user (e.g., to avoid re-use or mis-use of a unique email address), 2) to contact a user ('you') about a very important or legally-required matter concerning your account, 3) to provide the core services of our product (i.e., to allow you to store and retrieve your own data).

Even with data which is not personally identifiable but which is submitted by you, we will only use such data when it may be useful for scientific or business purposes (e.g., storing or analyzing statistics about the safety and/or labeling of a particular food but without tying that data back to particular users). For example, data on your self-reported gluten-related health condition and severity may be stored along with your rating of a food. That rating, in turn, may be combined with many other ratings by users with the same condition or severity as you in order to see how users with that particular condition or severity have rated a particular food or brand. However, all of this will be done without referring to your user account or personal identity in any way. Data used for analysis will contain no personally identifiable information such as email address or name at any time.

In addition to the above promises in regards to the use of static data, at no time will personally identifiable data get transferred or translated into data which is stored for business analysis or scientific analysis or for retrieval by other users (data stored 'for statistical purposes'). Only that data which is stored in a de-identified manner or generated for statistical purposes is viewable in any way by other users, and only that same data which is stored de-identified or generated for statistical purposes may ever be used by anyone for medical research purposes or for market analysis purposes by either the managers of GlutenTracker or by any third party with which the Owners or managers of GlutenTracker agree to supply data in the future. The Owners prioritize ethics above all else and are consciously dis-interested from ever selling or sharing any data that could be construed as "personal" in any way unless at the express request of you.
